Event Overview:
The Autumn Sports and Team Games Day at USEP Paul Dukas is designed to bring children, families, and the local community together for a full day of engaging, physical, and educational activities. Program Schedule:
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Welcome and Registration
Participants are greeted by the USEP Paul Dukas team. Children and parents receive schedules, instructions, and safety guidelines. Brief icebreaker activities help participants get acquainted with each other and prepare for the day ahead. - 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Team Sports and Challenges
Children participate in team sports such as soccer, relay races, and basketball. Activities are structured to teach cooperation, fair play, and strategic thinking. Volunteers and staff guide the children, ensuring that all participants feel included and supported. Each activity is designed to encourage communication, problem-solving, and mutual respect among team members. - 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch and Social Break
A picnic-style lunch is available for participants. This time allows children and families to relax, socialize, and reflect on the morning’s activities. Staff and volunteers engage with families to discuss the benefits of sports in child development and provide guidance for encouraging teamwork at home. - 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Outdoor Adventure Games
The afternoon focuses on nature-based challenges such as obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and teamwork exercises in the school yard and nearby green areas. Children develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and environmental awareness through hands-on exploration. Each activity is carefully supervised to ensure safety and maximum engagement. - 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Closing Ceremony
The day concludes with a short reflection session where children share their experiences, lessons learned, and favorite moments. Certificates of participation are awarded to celebrate teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship.
